RE: METALLIC BLUE vs SLAVES...

I agree that Slaves of the New World is much better. Production became tighter.
Steelhouse Lane was the greatest work MTM has ever created. Definitely deserves Music Label Award of 1998(if there's such an award).
Metallic Blue is great, it obscures ordinary great rock works of 90s. But it doesn't still recover 80s great rock feeling. (A Japanese liner note writer compared this work with Harem Scarem typical 90s MHR god).
Slaves of the New World, however, belongs to 80s. I often compare it with those of Night Ranger. If Love Should Go and Seven Seas particularly sound close to NR.
With the track Slaves of the New World they finally differentiated themselves with even the masters of 80s guitar-driven rock such as NR and Survivor.
I hope SHL sticks to this masterpiece rather than making new album because SNW is damn great. I hope by Keith's visit to Japan, large number of Japanese rock fans will get hooked by this album.
Thanks, Rammy
