Peter and Brent:

I personally thought that Lep's Euphoria was a great album (probably the best of 1999). Far superior to the Wind It Up CD. Brian McDonald has a decent voice and the album is full of hooks and melodies, but nothing as memorable as "Promises" or "Demolition Man" (or "I Am Your Child" if you have the Japanese version). I think that Brian McDonald is best compared to the likes of Chicago and Toto, not Def Leppard.

Leppard got a bad rap for the experimental "Slang". Then they returned to form with a monstrous rock album that fit well amongst their catalog of classics. That's more than some other bands have done (i.e. Bon Jovi).
