Your opinion is a popular one (bands shouldn't continue on with MANY replacements), however, I try to look at it SOMEWHAT like sports team. The entire cast cannot stay the same forever, and if we the fans want a band's music to live on, then we have to embrace replacements. As long as the sound stays true, and the replacements are mentored in, I'm supportive.

I never saw Styx live before this summer, but I thought they were great.....
