Whoa.. big time list here..
Well..
I would second the Night Ranger "Forever All Over Again" as a ballad that should have been huge.
Here's a few others:
The Outfield - Shelter Me
The Outfield - Tonight You're Mine
The Outfield - Kiss The Rain
Harem Scarem - End of Time (if this song gets any airplay, it will break)
Night Ranger - Hearts Away
Night Ranger - Restless Kind
Henry Lee Summer - I know how you feel
Henry Lee Summer - What's a Poor Boy To Do
Styx - Dear John (their most heartfelt and sincere song EVER)
Styx - Goodbye To Roseland, it's my own opinion of course, but this I think was Deyoung's way of letting us know that it was time for him to move on.. Take out the Gospel "Please Send me money now to the Church of the Brave New World.. Po box"(anyone else think this while that part of the song is going on?) bit and it rakes up there with Dear John as Styx's most heartfelt song.
And from all the interviews that DDY did about Brave New World, I guess Goodbye to Roseland is the only song of his that he's actually mentioned and promoted!
Thanks,
Jodes
