House of Shakira is quite different actually from Two Fires and Hugo....I would say that in some places it is heavier than the aforementioned bands and in some places lighter

The album is quite diverse actually, there is something for everyone, from softer ballad-type songs to hard rockin' songs like "In your head"

It does take a few listens to get into, however....but when you get into it it is a great album!

I'm with Vince. Two Fires and Hugo are better than anything Journey has put out since 83. The Storm two cds are also better. The front man piece I don't agree with. I've seen Augeri 4 times live and he is super, a much better front man on stage than Perry IMO. The proof will be in the pudding when Arrival is released. We'll see if Journey can recapture some of their harder, more rockin material as Schon claims. I still need to get House if Shakira III, though. I have Lint but that's it. How does House III compare with Two Fires and Hugo?
