RE: top 5 cd's of 2000....

So far it's been a pretty good year dude. These are my tentative choices so far...
1.DANGER DANGER - "Return of the Great Gildersleeves". Awesome, brilliantly catchy songs and a pretty tough sound for a melodic rock band.
2.IRON MAIDEN - "Brave New World". Great return to form. Harris's bass is not as prominent but the songs are better than they've done in a long time. Critics have universally praised it as one of their best ever, if not the best. I don't know, Piece of Mind and Powerslave as well as NOTB are right up there.
3. HOUSE OF SHAKIRA - Wow, these guys outjourney, Journey. Can't wait for their next album.
4.LANA LANE - "Secrets of Astrology" - Great to see a classy female vocalist fronting a progressive rock/metal band. Some searingly melodic twin guitar here and great loud/soft dynamics. David Victor rocks on guitar.
5.HEARTLAND (TO BE RELEASED) - I'm so excited about this album it's automatically included. With a heavier sound it's sure to be great!
Cheers.KAOS FAN. what do you other guys think?
