I agree with your assessment that Journey was an awesome band without Jon Cain. There is no doubt about that. I was only trying to draw a comparison between the addition of Jon to the band, and the obvious upturn in their record sales and commercial popularity that quickly ensued. "Who's the Best" arguments are an exercise in futility since we all have differing opinions about our favorite music. I will not debate the issue of which Journey lineup was "the best", just wanted to make that point about Jon's addition and Journey's stratospheric rise thereafter. BTW, I wish Gregg wouldv'e reunited with the band on TBF or even now. He certainly is missed in my eyes. Rock On!!
