Studs evolved from the Danish pop rock band Mabel that Mike first made his name with in the late 70s. They moved to Spain and recorded those singles and also a full blown album.
Because the records were on a Spanish label most assumed that the band was a Spanish act alongside such 'contemporaries' as Obus and Baron Rojo. In fact, it has only been in the last five or so years that the connection has been made upon further investigation.
Hope you bought those singles. They're quite rare now! More so than the album.
