Big Dog has it spot on.
Unfortunately, until the internet truly rules the airwaves the only bands that break through will be the ones the major labels ACTUALLY SUPPORT!
So current fave raves of mine like NEVE and MARS ELECTRIC will still get lost under a pile of shite unless someone influential in the company takes them under their wing. Despite them being very current sounding and combining the musicianship influence of the 80's.
My music collection will make a great 'bargain bin' one day!!!
