Certainly agree with you. Clive Davies is a rare breed. He actually does take a personal interest in the acts on his label. He is, however, not short of interfering, as bands like Babylon A.D. and Enuff Z'Nuff will testify. But when Clive is batting for you, then he's the best guy to have on your side if you're on Arista!
Actually, there's an interesting story as to how Enuff Z'Nuff came to be off the label. But I haven't got time to reveal it here! Ask Chip!!
