I think that some of you are maybe a little to bias. I know for a fact that the product manager that Journey had for their last album here in the UK, was and still is a huge Journey fan.

Remember it was nearly 15 years since Journey
had released anything, so Joe average music fan had forgotten about them. The fact that Perry didnt want to put any work in also caused problems. Journey where never that big here anyhow, and their singles [2 in 1981/82] only just made the top 40!.
I would be shocked if they sold more than 15,000 per album here during the Escape / Frontiers era.
