Nicely put! though it is always interesting to read US magazine, like Metal Edge, where the amount of whining by American musicians about touring outside the USA can be incredible to behold. They are happy enough with pounds, marks, francs, krone, etc,in their bank accounts, but the prospect of going to the UK,Germany, France, Sweden etc seems to be fill them with irritation and loathing because those places are not replicas of the States.
A classic example was Reb Beach whining about currency changes, different languages, and not enough MacDonalds, in a Metal Edge. Frankly, one MacDonalds in the UK or Europe is one too many.
