RE: Gothic Metal

I don't think I was confusing Black Metal (old or new school) with Gothic Metal, but the lines are blurred, and underground Metal like the Band you mentioned and the two I refered to are changing the rules, and becoming more Progressive, and literate. Angizia which combines Opera, Classical, Folk, and Black Metal is another good example of the Genre blending.
I find most Black Metal unlistenable, and ridiculous. On the other hand-it is so extreme that it is almost "Avant Garde" in approach, which makes it far more entertaining than the current Rap/ Metal blend being touted from the Major labels and Media. Both Gothic and Black metal need to move out of formula, as the bands I have mentioned are doing.
