Dramarama, though somewhat of a cult band, had HUGE success in modern rock circles and Anything Anything was the #1 song on LA's very influential KROQ, I think of all time. Personally, nothing touches the Dramarama version...

Odd because I knew the guys and they never considered themselves as modern rockers but more classic rockers as their biggest influences were bands like the Kinks and Bowie. I highly recommend them...
