I think your being very tough on Heartland, Nicky. Steve Morris is a great guitar player, he wasn't playing with Ian Gillan of Deep Purple fame for nothing. And I'm an aor nut and I say unreservedly Heartland are one of the best aor bands around. I wouldn't want to compare Heartland to the distance either as they complement each other. As for the comparisons between MORRIS and KAOS they are both excellent players and it's difficult to choose between them. The word on the new HEARTLAND album circulating for months is that it's the hardest edged thing they've ever done and I for one can't wait. As for your criticisms of the ESCAPE label, if it wasn't for the company Heartland would probably be out of business so an element of praise please. Escape and MTm/frontiers are doing a great job - let's give them some credit.
