I think that is kind of a hard list to make. I think the term "one-hit wonder" is kind of an insulting one. I hate to label any of my favorites as such. For example, Giant is probably a prime example of a band who only had one hit single, I'll See You In My Dreams. But they are one of the great bands of the genre. Kix is another that came to mind, but they put out about 7 albums, and had a long moderately-successful career. I guess Angel and Guiffria are other prime examples, but they are also highly regarded.
I guess it's hard for me to make fun of a one-hit wonder in these times, since most everybody is now a no-hit wonder. Think about it, when was the last time a true rock band had a top 10 single, at least in the U.S.. Aerosmith's "Pink" was the last minor hit that I know of, and I doubt that it even made the top 10.
