I too tried to get into 'III' I listened to it over and over again...Cherone sounded okay....if you ask me he was almost trying to sound like Sammy on some songs...but the songs on 'III' were just not up to par...as for why Cherone left...it's pretty odvious who is in charge in Van Halen....it's not too hard to figure out...
I still miss Sammy.....
As for the reunion thing I too am in the minority.....I never liked Van Halen with Dave anyways.....I wish he had stuck to his lounge act....but who knows...'Me Wise Magic' was a pretty cool song...so...we'll see what happens I guess
