Mike Slamer as mentioned by John Q was in City Boy. They were a UK based band who made 7 records in the mid to late 70's/ early 80's.Their early stuff may not be your average AOR fan's cup of tea but I love all their albums. The last four
albums are all brilliant and should appeal to lovers of melodic rock. Slamer is one of the best guitarists this country has ever produced.
I suggest you go to City boy web site for more info. Sorry I haven't got the link to hand.
Some of the guitar riffs were amazing and the band vocal harmonies were on a par with Queen & Styx. The 1st 6 are on cd but the last isn't sadly.
Streets were totally underrated and should have been huge. They made 2 albums but they were vinyl only. Cd versions are boots. There is an official live cd of a King Biscuit show whicg is brilliant and fetures unreleased tracks too.
This should be easy to get.
