Thanks for reminding me how Amazon.com works. I am regularly visiting Amazon and found how Amazon.com ranking works. It seems Amazon.com ranking is based on the combination of points of cumulative sales and current sales compared with Billboard charts it is based on weekly sales. Most of melodic rock artists are ranked according to cumulative sales because they don't have constant sales to be regularly checked. The lowest ranking is 1250000 which means there's only one album bought.(I doubt most of that is purchased either by record company's self buying or rock connouseurs). To be ranked 100,000 it must have the record sales of at least 20. When a artist meet certain standard they gain the previlege of being ranked within 40000 which is daily checked. Most of the melodic rock releases struggle to gain that status. To maintain that status they will need the record sales of two per week which is about ranking 30000.

Danger Danger was ranked around #7000 to #9000 so I presume they have sales of 10 to 20 pcs per week(in Amazon.com alone). I doubt they can keep that high sales ranking level because Low Dice aren't prepared for such massive sales.
They are independent labels so they gradually furnishes for larger scale sales.
If the record company increase the production level and still running out of stocks
there will be great hope for D2.

There are greater attention to mid careered great American rockers. As a businessman's perspective it makes sense. For record companies it has less risk for promotion because they scored great success in late 80s and early 90s and people still remember. And these artists know how it feels to be successful
and want that things to happen again. They are still hungry for success naturally that will heighten up their talent and we will have great albums. Now only I see Mr.Big and Danger Danger which seems to be leading that trend so far. But I see chances for Enuff'Z Nuff and Nelson.

Let's hope them success for 2000!!
