Tags (or do you prefer John?):

Port Jeff is a good 1 1/2 hour drive from Manhattan (and could be much more if there's traffic). MapBlast says its 1hr 15min from my house in Weehawken, but you know that's if there's NO traffic. The very fastest I've ever done it is a little more than one hour from midtown to Port Jeff, on Christmas eve. We got out of a Broadway show a bit before 11 and we hit PJ just as the midnight mass bells were ringing. Of course there was no one on the road and the weather was clear....

You don't actually have to go through Manhattan, of course. If you're coming from southern NJ you can cut along the south part of SI and take the Belt/Southern State out there, but then you'll need to go up to the north shore of LI. From northern NJ its easier - over the GWB and along the GSP/Northern State. I'm a native LIer, you want directions I can give 'em. ;-)

Once again, I'm sad I can't make this one... if anyone out there is listening PLEASE have another Sign show sometime! And John, how about a show with your new band for us Joisey folk? (yeah, I know - I said I was from LI, but I'm in NJ now)

Brandy, the very long time Zebra fan
