Mine was Van Halen's "Fair Warning" album, I was 12 years old and I my sister took me into this record shop as she wanted to buy some Paul King single or something, and they had "Fair Warning" playing, it was my first taste of rock, and I forced my sister to buy it, I remember the drums being the first thing I liked, played at a record shop volume they completey stunned me, to this day I still rate "Fair Warning" as one of the best of Van Halen's albums.
I really do hope that they have recorded a new album with Roth and that they tour, I've seen Roth many times live + also VH but never together, it would be awesome, although I doubt Dave will be able to do all his high kicks at his old age now!!
