Actually, it was comedian Chris Rock, on his tv show talking about this very subject.He lamented the the disappearance of all the white "bad boys" like Axel Rose, Motley Crue, etc., and the appearance of all these bands like Limp Bizcut, Korn, etc., that mixed rap with metal. I almost fell off my couch because I was laughing so hard!.
