John, you're right on. Comparing Kid Rock to Vanilla Ice is an insult. I have not been able to see him live over here in Europe, but I did see a German TV gig he did last year and was completely blown away. During a medley, he took turns at every instrument - it was absolutely unreal. Not to mention that his band totally smokes as well. And his lyrics are way above standard than what most other acts put out these days. Fact is, this guy is the best thing that happened to Metal/Hardrock in over a decade. Period.
