Well if you feel the need to "let it go" the do so. When your a die hard rocker and you lived through the FUN times of the 80's, then it's in your blood to stay.
As for me, I like all types of music but when it comes to the happiest and most FUN /memorable times of my life it was when the 80's hair music was around and I'll never give up that time in my life when especially now, I can put on a Danger2, Extreme, or Poison cd and go back to that concert(s) or time in my life that I enjoyed the most. You could go to a killer concert ,bang your head, and not think twice about getting hurt and having some big huge sweaty guy moshing you while you tried to enjoy the show. As far as record sales, I think the bands that are still trying out there and giving it thier all are doing it not for the money but because they are dedicated to thier fans and do it because they LOVE to play.
The era maybe gone for right now ..but remember, everything comes back around. And those of us who still believe in the music will ALWAYS keep the era alive!!!
And I feel thats most of the ppl who post on this site.
