Haywire question

Haywire's "Nuthouse" CD isn't such a bad cd after listening to it. I was worried it
was going to be one of those quarter way heavy eighties keyboard pop albums
ala Honeymoon Suite or Loverboy. In other words, a band that sounds like it was trying to be identified with the huge metal market/genre (ie, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake,
Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Aerosmith) of the 80's but still trying to retain poppy enough overtones with keyboard parps to get onto 80's radio playlists.
"Nuthouse" has some pretty good guitar riffs on it, so there's an element
of heaviness that saves it from dated eighties sounding pop rock and into a more
metallic genre.
What other albums have Haywire put out, and what or who do they sound like?
Are they recommended?
Thanks
