RE: OK, about Sabbath...
You don't like the Original Sabbath??? That's crazy! Like Van Halen, Black Sabbath were a ground breaking band and their first 6 albums were some of the best ever made. (In an ironic note, it was Van Halen's first national tour opening for Sabbath in 1978, and their last tour with Ozzy - until the recent reunion. Now it's Van Halen's turn)
Yeah, Dio is a great singer. So was Ian Gillan and Rob Halford.
That's right, the Judas Priest guy. He never made an album with Sabbath, but he did fill in briefly at the end of the Dehumanizer tour after RJ Dio left again. The reason being that the band decided to bring Ozzy on stage for encores at their homecoming gigs in Birmingham England (not sweet home Alabama).
As for the stuff between 1984- 1991 and 1993-1997. It's not Black Sabbath. One guy doesn't make a band. If you like it, great, but that stuff never worked for me.
You Napster fans can find some interesting Sabbath stuff from me (fcvh7896) when you get the chance. I've got rare stuff from the original band plus some of the previously mentioned Gillan and Halford rarities.
And of course all the good Van Halen stuff , naturally.......
