Between Keith Moon being dead and Pete Townshend being half deaf (and as a result not playing that much actual guitar anymore), the Who seem to have lost the power in their music. The songs just seem kinda hollow now. And then, on the 89 tour when poor Pete accidentally crucified himself with the whammy bar of his guitar, I knew it was over. And I don't just mean that particular concert.
