REO had some pretty killer tunes, especially their heavy on gary's guitar tunes.
For all you newbies out there in AOR land, "Nine Lives" is truly a great album
to own. If it had a couple more tunes along the lines of "Meet me on the Mountain"
or "Heavy on your Love" it would be like another Escape. I would also advise
a copy of "Richrath" - cool cd from REO guitarist, and looking like a alcoholic middle aged housewife, Gary Richrath. Shouldn't be too hard to find out in cyber space.
Sad to see the condition of all REO bandmates. Now we know
what the Backstreet Boys are going to look like in another ten years.
