First thing to say Hutch is that this site is obviously doing its job of 'keeping the dream alive', so to speak. Of the bands you've mentioned I would say the best albums were...
Harem Scarem - 'Mood Swings' ( A desert island disc if ever there was one!)
Ten - 'Ten' (The songs for the first and second album were written at the same time but the first one has a slightly better sounding production/mix)

If you like the UNRULY CHILD album you MUST track down the SIGNAL album 'Loud and Clear'. Same vocalist but with a slightly less heavy sound and fantastic songs.

Really this is just scratching at the surface. I remember when I was first truly opened up to this sort of music at a well known English rock club it just totally rekindled my enthusiasm for music. There's a world of music out there just waiting to be found... so go find it! And use other peoples opinions only as a guide, but don't miss out on something until you've had a listen yourself.
