Heavy Harmonies Song of the Week: a Craafty pair.

Half the fun of collecting CDs is "the thrill of the chase." When you finally fill that elusive hole in your collection, it's a wonderful feeling; it makes you all warm and fuzzy inside. :) I experienced this feeling this week when I was *finally* able to add Craaft's 1986 self-titled debut to my collection. It's one of the most elusive AOR albums out there, and well worth the chase. These German melodic rockers put out a wonderful blend of keyboard-driven melodic hard rock. Their 2nd and 3rd albums were a little bit heavier than this one, but I'm not sure if they ever quite recaptured the harmony they exhibited on the first. In celebration of my checking this one off the list, here are 2 tracks from the first Craaft S/T album, I Wanna Look in Your Eyes (4.6MB) and You're the Best Thing in My Life (5.7MB).
