I think you were probably right! Once again Glenn fails to live up to his potential.
Incredible singer but he needs a really good writing partner AND perhaps even another singer to trade off! He was WAY better than Coverdale but the combination worked so maybe he should ease off on the ego and give it a go.

There's a few other vocalists who could do well to adopt this approach too.
