Passion Street is a great band with a KILLER new cd coming out soon. I hadnt heard of them myself until contact by Rick from the band who sent me a cdr of the new cd( i have no idea what their other cd sounds like,so i cant argue with you there).
When i listened to the new cd I was very impressed, they have a unique sound that is NOT typical of most of the other AOR bands, hard to describe , but with elements of LIVING COLOR,SEAL,MIXED WITH A HEAVY BUT POLISHED BIG WHITE SNAKY OR LED ZEP arrangements,I especially like the song "ARABIA".Maybe they got a little critisicm on their first cd and tried harder to make the next one much better(its been known to happen before, hmmm sound familiar?haha )These guys are top musicians, the guitar player and the drummer kick ass,and the cd is very professional sounding, the vocals are really ON. I know the guys spent quite alot to make it and it was worth the expense as this sounds like a Major label release. I am happy to have them along for this years U.K. tour and I know that you will be hearing more from this band in the future. Hope to see you all at the shows and you can judge for yourself.BTW,GET YOUR COPY OF LOVEMETAL NOW(and thanks!)!..
rock on...
