All Access passes should mean just that. That you have access to the entire venue, including dressing rooms and stage.
However, these are usually only given out to crew members of the band's concerned and a small number of record company personnel, trusted journalists and friends.
Where support bands are concerned, the pass may be a different colour or design and this restricts access to only that particular acts dressing room and stage access only to the period when they are performing.
In my experience contest winners usually receive VIP passes which only give you access to backstage areas if accompanied by someone from the band crew or a record company PR with a full All Access laminate.
An After Show pass is another beast entitrely, and will only give you access to the meet and greet area following the gig.
If you are given a 'Boiler' or 'Edna' pass then be VERY worried!!!!!!
Whatever you get - besides those last two - have a great time!
