Re: Blue Oyster Cult? The New Quo?

I am thinking (having not heard the new CD yet), that BOC should maybe let it go(having heard the last few releases and liked none of it.), and retire, or just do something else. It's like a new Stones album- how can anyone get excited about that? Maybe I am just pissin' in the wind here, but does anyone else agree with me on this? BOC in the 70's were a formidable band with a string of great (and a couple not so great) albums, but since the very early 80's things went downhill rather rapidly (See Styx, Kansas etc...) and I can't see the point when the quality of the material on some of the last CD's was dreadful.

It's a case of a big 70's "name" getting signed on that alone. On the subject of "Boogie"... whatever happened to Spider? Carl?
