how many songs?

A few weeks a ago someone on this board was tellin' about buying an album even if there were only a couple good songs on it. I used to be like that. One good song was enough for me to buy the album. What was I thinking? I changed my view about that. I rather have a good or okay maybe even an average album with 10-12 reasonable or good songs then an album with only 3 or 4 outstanding songs and the rest you have to skip. IMO the problem is that most albums today lack consistency. Yes, I know I'll miss some great songs, so be it. I think that most of you on this messageboard will disagree with me. Or...?
