And now for something a lil' diff'rent...

Personally, I'm pretty amused by these daily 'check out the biggest thing since sliced bread'-nu-breed alerts on this board because, truth be told, a lot of it has about as much substance as the Bay City Rollers on a bad day. One melodic record that's actually worth checking out is Dave Navarro's (yeah, the dude from Jane's Addiction and the Chili Peppers...) new solo album, 'Trust No One'. Nu breed fanboys and girls will probably like this as will anyone into quality contemporary melodic rock whether it's STP ('Shangri La Dee-Da' is about the best thing to come out all year - phenomenal songwriting! Instant classic if I've ever heard one!), VAST, A Perfect Circle or Tommy Henriksen. Not that Navarro's sounds like any of these acts but people that enjoy these acts will relate to Dave.
