Hi:

I've got all the All About Eve albums... they are very nice in my opinion, well, except Ultraviolet (the last one), which I haven't understood yet.

Tim Bricheno was the first guitarist... In the first two albums, and then he went to Sisters of Mercy and made that very good record (that with Destination Blvd, Vision thing, When you don't see me...) This two first All About Eve records are my favourites... with very good songs like "Wild hearted woman" or "December".

Then Came Marty Wilson Piper, from the Church, who has a very personal way of understand the music... Nice songs like "farewell Mr. sorrow".

They also have a greatist hits CD, "Winter words - hits and rareties" (Mercury records) which is a very good way to know them.

For me this is one of those bands that don't seem to be looking for "fame, money, and ...." They seem authentic (what a strange thing these days)

Best regards
Fran
