RE: New Pink Floyd live.....

Yes this was recorded on the 1980 "Wall" tour, which due to the expense of the production (i.e. building an entire theatrical setup on stage) actually only appeared in London, New York, and L.A. if I remember correctly.
I hope this album outsells anything that's been released under the Pink Floyd name in the last 20 years, and that Gilmour and Waters get the message. Bring back the REAL Pink Floyd! (And if you can break Syd Barrett out of the loony bin, even better!)
Gilmour is an excellent guitarist, but he is not Pink Floyd without Roger, the band's principal songwriter. Gilmour isn't even an original member for Pete's sake! His use of the Pink Floyd name is bordering on blasphemy. Not that the pseudo-Floyd albums haven't had their moments (On the Turning Away is a great song) but overall, it just has a huge hole in it.
