...only put out one album, and that was after the two Sword albums Hughes sang on. S&S was lighter, more pop-metal (ie., Poison, Crue, etc.) than Sword, who had a much darker, heavier sound (ie., Judas Priest, Metal Church, etc.). Both of Sword's albums ("Sweet Dreams" and "Metalized") are worth checking out if you like power metal in this vein. Personally, I can understand why fans of heavier metal were so disgusted when Hughes left Sword to front S&S, but as a fan of both kinds of metal, it never bothered me. Bottom line: unless you have an aversion to power metal, you're bound to like the Sword albums.
