Fate was formed by then ex Mercyful Fate guitarist Hank Shermann. He quit the band in '87. They released 4 albums to my knowledge : "fate", "a matter of attitude", "cruisin' for a brusin'" and "scratch and sniff". "a matter of attitude" is, for me, the best album they did. You can catch it on cd but for a very high price.
