The Poorboys became The Poor - they changed it after being signed me thinks under the guise of the record company. They are still kicking around, although nothing else has come out of the studio. They have supported ACDC on the Aussie legs of their last two world tours and totally kicked ass, I also saw them in support of Sammy Hagar in Sydney about 2 years ago, again, they rocked. Apparantly the guitarist is in another band now, but last I heard was from the horse's mouth at Selina's in Sydney - lead singer says, this is a track off our forthcoming CD, it should be out soon! But yeah, nothing else.

And by the way, no, no comparison to PC69, other than they are really tight. Its really fucking solid aussie pub rock but well produced, I guess you could throw some very second-cousin ACDCisms in there only in the riff stakes, the rest is fairly unique, thunderous, scratched up to shit vocals, pub rock! There's a few Poor fans on this board, I'm sure they'd agree (I think...). And hey, if you want me to sort you a copy, mail me and I'll see what I can do. Cheers.
