I`m agreeing with Night Ranger. Especially the great guitar wizardry of Brad Gillis and the finger tapping, vibrato style of Jeff Watson were and are a great guitar duo. I also think Y&T put out some solid record`s in the early and mid 80`s. Dave Meniketti is a great vocalist who can hit any high note and is not to shabby on the guitar either. Another great unknown band fron the 80`s was a band called Autograph. Some of you may not know them but they wrote some real catchy songs and had their own unique rock-metal-pop sound. Steve Lynch their guitar player is also worthy of some praise and highly underrated. I`ll also mention Adrian Vandenberg`s first solo album. His first album is filled with top notch blues riffs and memorable solo`s. Drummer Jos Zoomer and vocalalist BertHeerink also perform admirably. His other 2 solo albums (Heading For A Storm and Alibi) also have some bright spots despite some mediocre lyric writing.
