Chris, according to his former WatchTower bandmate, Jason McMaster (Dangerous Toys, Broken Teeth, GMC, etc.), he now lives in New York and is producing bands. Jason has a great website at www.baremaster.com/watchtower/ if you want to read up on Billy's early years.

The BW solo stuff was sort of a cross between the Arc Angels and Soundgarden - very soulful, yet modern sounding (hard) rock with a slight alternative edge. Aside from playing guitar, Billy is also handling lead vocals on both CD's and sounding very good IMO. Both records are on the now defunct DMZ label (also home of Dangerous Toys for 'Pissed' and 'The Artist formerly known as D.T.'). Personally, I prefer the full-length album, 'Illutionation' ('96), to the earlier 'Sistershootingstar' 5-song EP ('95), but they're both worth tracking down. I was lucky enough to catch the band live in '95 and they sounded absolutely fab - plus Billy is one of the nicest guys one could ever hope to meet. I really hope he'll pop up again down the line.
