Hiya Benno,

I'd just disagree with your comment about Sammy being willing to do Roth-era tunes.....in fact, he was in the band for a few years before agreeing finally to perform Jump in concert (and that's one of their biggest hits!). Being a Hagar fan, it pains me to say it, but my understanding was that for every Roth tune he sang he was allowed one of his solo tunes (at least in the early years).
Gary Cherone did perform basically the whole VH catalogue, and I remember reading interviews with Ed and Alex saying how great it was to play tunes they hadn't touched in over 10 years (Unchained for example).
I don't think Roth could handle Sammy's vocals anyway, but since if this reunion comes off, everyone just wants to hear their old favourites in concert one more time, is that a problem? (I personally don't think so).
