I ain't ashamed to admit I don't know how a label works. If you know the details bright boy then spit it out!

My point about Ratt was that if Kalodner and/or Sony rejected a billion submissions by the band does that make them bad...we'll never know because we never got to hear them.

The new album isn't bad, you just have to listen to it a few times. I'm not saying it's the best piece of AOR from last year, it's just typical Ratt. Just like I didn't personally find the last Slaughter album very enjoyable, Revolution was much better. But hey those are just opinions.

Record companies which dictate the radio airplay (at least as I understand it and once again if you know more about this then divulge it) have forced what everyone likes underground. No wonder there isn't a following because you can't hear it anywhere!

Yeah the current state of rock sucks - I'll agree on that, unless you are willing to order from abroad where at some good music is still being produced!
