I agree with your statement about rap. While I consider it a musical form...I really do not consider rappers "musicians." "Musicians" to me are people who play instruments, and write music. I don't consider Britney or Christina musicians...they are singers. I know this is a very touchy subject and I don't mean to start any heated battles but this is my opinion...if you don't agree, I understand. A lot of people don't share my view. I just think calling rappers, and artists such as Backstreet, Britney, and Nsync musicians is missing the point. Musicians "make" music...they write, play, and perform it.

Just my two cents...
