I know I'm touching a difficult issue Eric, but I really believe rap and hip-hop is not really music.

What we had 20 years ago was some bad bands playing punk or new wave, but still playing their own instruments.

Now sampling other musicians' songs hasn't got nothing to do with music. Therefore I don't consider rap and hip-hop true music. They don't compose, they sample and most of the times they ruin other's songs.

And... btw, they are the evolution of the guys that 30 years ago hated prog music saying that's cold, the musicians overplay everything because...

they aren't able to play a single instrument!

And they still aren't able to play one. Jealous guys...
