One listen to BLUE MURDER and you realise who was responsible for the success of WHITESNAKE 1987, and I'm not talking about Coverdale.

Sykes and Stone forged that sound Coverdale was just along for the ride. For that alone Sykes deserves respect.

OOOHH! CONTROVERSIAL!!
