Hi Guys

Before I start on Mystery (the best Belgian rock band ever !!!) let me just say this:

1. Lynx indeed made a very good album. I can still remember singing "Hot shot town" for weeks in my teens (I'm 25 now)

2. as far as K3, I used to be in primary scool with one of the girls (Kristel, black hair) and boy could she sing, before she started with K3 she used to sing in a local band, singing blues and rock songs !!! as far as K3...what can I say...I can't blame her for taking the money...(let's NOT start a toppic on K3...please...)

3. Great thing from Stéphane to clear things out with Tom, congratulations !!!

OK, MYSTERY time !!!!

Mystery made 2 stunning albums:

The first was called "Mystery" and is very very rare !!!!
I have had to look very hard for it (it was on the top of my wanted list FOR YEARS), even asked Peter himself and he told me that he didn't have a copy himself !!! He didn't know where it could be found either...
But last year I was able to buy it at AORHeaven for 70 DM (Georg = God)
But I think that Georg only had one or two copies. Maybe you can contact Georg for it: Georg.Siegl@aorheaven.com (although I wouldn't put my hopes on it)
I still remember that I saw these guys in Lokeren, at that time I only had the second album and than they played "Land of Mystery" from the debut, it just blew my away !!!! The first thing I did when I got the debut was make a copy on CD-R, in case something would happen to the original.

Their second album was called "Backwards", it was harder and further away from AOR, but with lot's of great tracks e.g. "No more tears" (a friend of mine still thinks they sing "no martini"...). I think it was released on Long Island and this one should be "less hard" to find (I bet their are still some copies left in some Belgian CD stores).
And guess who helped with the production:
Harry and Pete from HAREM SCAREM !!!! (the last time Harem Scarem played in the Biebob, Peter helped out a roadie for the guys)
I think I saw the album once in the LSP shop (next to the Biebob), you can mail the guys:
lsp@lsp-company.com

Anyway, these guys made 2 very good albums and live they were even better and very funny too (the last track on the Affair album could have been Mystery at work!!!)
And as a Belgian melodic rock fan (or any melodic rock) fan you really should have these albums.

Greetings

Tavas
