What's there to kid about de Kreuners? Their bass player Berre Bergen made a bona fide AOR classic under the LYNX moniker with the guys that would go on to form Ransom ("Trouble in Paradise" on MTM) Awesome stuff!

About Clouseau: their first English album was basically a bunch of translated existing songs + a couple of new songs. Very poppy album.
Their second one (In Every Small Town) was much more AOR-oriented & recorded in the USA. "Live like Kings" is still a great track to me. A couple of other good tunes on that album, but nothing as big as that first track...
And for what it's worth: I was 15 or so when they got big & still regularly play their first album, which is still their best (and most rockin') so far. Lately they mainly make sugar sweet slow syrupy stuff... I watched the beginning of their set two years ago, after Gotthard @ the Lokerse Feesten, but gave up after 4 tracks, cuz they weren't playing anything up-tempo & I nealy fell asleep. Still, they gave us some good tracks ("Marylou", for example, the flip side from the single "Anne") & I thank them for that. And for what it's worth, Stéphane, I do think their second English album deserves mention on this board...
